The Amphenol ICC SheerPwr Circular connector is a high-current, low-resistance interface designed for robust busbar-to-busbar, busbar-to-board, and board-to-board connections. It features a compliant power contact in a circular orientation, forming a power socket that mates with traditional machined pins. This design ensures repeated low resistance, high misalignment tolerance, and high current carrying capabilities. The connector's large beam deflection range accommodates up to 0.40mm of permanent misalignment, guaranteeing contact even when fully misaligned. It utilizes Amphenol ICCs proprietary AGT silver-based plating for ultra-low contact resistance. The SheerPwr Circular is ideal for blind-mate applications and is suitable for target markets including AC/DC Pluggable Power Supplies, Networking Equipment, Switches, Server Storage Equipment, Industrial PCs, Industrial Controls & Instrumentation, Circuit Breakers, and Medical devices.
