The MIL-STD-1553 Bus Couplers from Bel Fuse/Cinch are designed to support the connection of multiple devices through a redundant, deterministic, serial data bus. These couplers facilitate the connection of remote terminals, bus controllers, or bus monitors via stubs. They provide essential shielding, isolation resistors, and transformer interfaces for robust data transmission. The bus passes through the coupler via two connectors, with each coupler offering one or more stub connections. Unused stub connections remain unterminated. For bus configurations ending at the coupler, an external termination resistor is required. Bel Fuse/Cinch also offers complementary products including terminators, RFI Caps, cables, and cable assemblies for complete MIL-STD-1553 data bus link solutions.
