DN Series - New D Subminiature Interface Connectors

The DN series connectors are compact, rectangular multi-contact connectors designed for smaller and slimmer electronic equipment. Featuring a 2.54 mm grid contact position and direct dip soldering on PCB, they enable high-density circuit design at a reduced cost. The aluminum die-cast shell and metallic shell provide shielding against electromagnetic interference. Available in 20, 26, 36, and 50 way configurations.

Features

2.54 mm grid contact position for high-density circuit designing.
Stable quality based on the proven SM series (D sub-connector) contact design.
One-touch lock system for secure operation.
Thin, low-back compact cover case design suitable for high-density mounting, mountable between 17.78 mm (700mil) substrates.
Aluminum die-cast cover case shields against electromagnetic waves, ideal for noise reduction when combined with the connector metal shell.
Dip soldering connectors include snap clamps for temporary PCB fixing.
IDC termination types for standard 1.27 mm pitch cables (AWG26 and AWG28).
Crimp contact cables compatible with AWG26 through AWG28.
Cable exit can be vertical or horizontal as required by the application.
