The Amphenol SurLok Plus compression lug is a field-installable, highly reliable alternative to common compression lugs, utilizing industry-standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options without requiring special torque tools. It is an environmentally sealed version of the original SurLok, available in smaller sizes, and features a quick lock and press-to-release design. Incorporating RADSOK Technology, the SurLok Plus is a compact, quick-mating, and robust product line designed for high amperage applications. The RADSOK high amperage contact technology employs a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to achieve low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area. The R4 version of the RADSOK is the result of extensive research and development in laser welding copper-based alloys. Key markets and applications include Energy Storage, EV/HEV, Process Control/Automation, and Heavy Equipment. The connector design ensures a definitive electrical and mechanical connection with an integral latching system. Housings are made from durable thermoplastic material with excellent dielectric and mechanical properties, compliant with RoHS. Contacts are derived from quality copper alloy for reliable electrical connections. The series is certified to UL1977/4128 and TUV 2PfG2740.
