Stewart Connector's RoHS Compliant SFP+ Cages are engineered to meet Small Form Factor industry standards, supporting the increasing demand for high-speed I/O solutions in Fibre Channel and Ethernet applications. These cages are designed for 16Gbps Fibre Channel and 10Gbps Ethernet, offering full compatibility with SFP+ interfaces and mechanical backward compatibility with SFP. Available in single and multiport configurations with press-fit and PCI (1) mounting options, they feature 360 gaskets, spring fingers, and multiple ground-pin locations for enhanced EMI shielding. Options for heat sinks improve thermal management in higher wattage transceiver applications, and light pipes are available to indicate link status. Press-fit mounting eliminates soldering, reducing applied costs and potential solder-related issues. These cages are compliant with industry standards SFF-8432, SFF-8083, and SFF-8431, making them suitable for Networked Storage Systems, Servers, Telecommunications, Switches, Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs), and Data Center Networking.
