This SQM CONNECTOR is a compact squib connector designed for airbag applications, featuring intelligent CPA (Connector Position Assurance) for secure locking, incomplete mating detection, and short-circuit release. Its design prioritizes improved connector retention force and prevents incomplete mating on the assembly line. The terminal construction protects contact parts with a box, while a shunt ring with scooping countermeasures enhances resistance to scooping insertion and withdrawal. Integrated ferrite cores provide simple and reliable noise suppression. The connector is compliant with ELV/RoHS standards.
