The 3M MetPak 2-FB Header MP2 Series is a 2 mm pitch, vertical, 4/5 row connector designed for robust interconnect solutions. It offers both solder tail and press-fit termination options, featuring shouldered pins for enhanced mechanical stability and early mate/late break functionality for hot-swapping applications (press-fit EMLB adjusted by application tooling). This header is end-to-end stackable, supports select load capability, and is monoblockable. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for various midplane applications, including optional feed-through tails for rear plug-up configurations. The connector adheres to the IEC 61076-4-104 Futurebus+ global standard.
