The Amphenol Mini Cool Edge 0.60mm connector is a high-density, high-speed card edge connector designed for next-generation small form factor systems. Meeting SFF-TA-1002, Gen Z, EDSFF, and OCP NIC 3.0 specifications, this fine-pitch solution offers multiple back-to-back (BTB) applications including right-angle, mezzanine, and coplanar configurations, along with cable interconnect options. It supports high-speed data rates from 32GT/s to 56GT/s, and up to 112GT/s PAM4. Common applications include Solid State Drives (SSD), Network Interface Cards (NIC), and Add-In Cards. The connector's small form factor and discrete pin design serve as a space-saving solution, supporting single-ended and high-speed differential pairs.
