Solid brass terminals ensure superior electrical contact and secure plug retention. The socket conforms to SAE performance standards (J560b) and includes a spring-loaded door prominently marked "TRAILER ABS" to prevent misconnection. The door seals tightly when not in use, protecting the interior from road splash and pollutants, and extends beyond the socket for added protection.
