Cinch SMA High Frequency End Launch Connectors are designed for high-frequency applications where proper mounting is critical for optimal performance. These connectors ensure a tight fit against the circuit board edge, with the center contact pin lying parallel and flat against the board, centered on the signal trace. They are suitable for various circuit board thicknesses and are engineered to achieve low VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) over a wide bandwidth, typically less than 1.5 up to 18 GHz. The connectors are attached by soldering the legs and center conductor to the pads on the circuit board, with specific trace width adjustments recommended for the transition from coax to microstrip to compensate for the transition and maintain low VSWR.
