For example, for thicker metal plates, a high-power laser may be required to achieve effective welding.

3.Welding speed:

It affects the width of the weld seam and the heat input. Too fast a speed may lead to an unstable weld, while too slow a speed may cause excessive heating and a large heat-affected zone.
For example, in fine welding, a slower speed is needed to ensure accuracy.

4.Focal point position:

The accurate setting of the focal point is directly related to the welding quality. The position of the focal point above, on, or below the surface of the workpiece will produce different welding effects.
For materials of different thicknesses, the focal point position needs to be adjusted accordingly.
Pulse width and frequency: In pulsed laser welding, the pulse width determines the energy of each pulse, and the frequency affects the continuity of the welding.
Short pulses are suitable for thin plate welding, and long pulses are suitable for thick plates.
