Copper End ring and Rotor Bar with High Strength and Durability
In electric motors, the Copper End ring and Rotor Bars are an essential component. In induction motors, they are particularly important. They have a crucial role in the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy in order for the motor to generate rotary motion. The rotor bars are typically made of copper or aluminium and are strategically placed in the core of the rotor to provide the necessary support.
The rotor bars of asynchronous motors are primarily responsible for conducting the induction within the rotor. The stator windings create a rotating magnetic field when the motor is energised. This rotating magnetic field causes a current to be induced in the rotor bars by electromagnetic induction.
The rotor bars are made of conductive material. They allow the induced current to flow through them. As the current flows, it creates its own magnetic field. This magnetic field interacts with the rotating magnetic field of the stator. This interaction creates a torque that causes the rotor to rotate.
