Production Process
The high-quality spherical copper powder is primarily produced via the Plasma Rotating Electrode Process (PREP):
  • Melting: A solid copper electrode rod is rapidly rotated at high speed while its end face is melted by a high-temperature plasma arc.
  • Atomization: Centrifugal force causes the molten liquid to be ejected and broken up into fine, uniform droplets.
  • Spheroidization & Solidification: Droplets form perfect spheres that solidify rapidly in an inert gas atmosphere.
