An HVAC line set forms the critical circulatory system between a condensing unit (outdoor) and an evaporator coil (indoor). It consists of two copper tubes:
The Smaller Liquid Line: Carries high-pressure, cooled liquid refrigerant from the condenser to the expansion device and evaporator inside.
The Larger Suction Line: Carries low-pressure, warmed refrigerant vapor from the evaporator back to the compressor in the condenser unit.
The white PE insulation sleeved over both tubes serves a vital function: it minimizes unwanted heat transfer (heat gain to the liquid line and heat loss from the suction line), ensuring system efficiency (high SEER/EER ratings) and preventing condensation and frost formation on the lines. Our factory-pre-insulated design ensures consistent, gap-free insulation coverage superior to field-assembled methods.
