Working Principle
Electrical Conductivity (Skin Effect): At high frequencies, electrical current travels on the surface of a conductor (Skin Effect). The bright polished, ultra-thin profile (0.01mm–0.1mm) maximizes surface-area-to-volume ratio, reducing AC resistance and improving efficiency in RF circuits and transformers.
Thermal Equilibrium: Copper has a high thermal conductivity (~400 W/mK). When placed between a heat source and a sink, the thin foil creates a low-impedance path for phonons (heat energy), quickly spreading and transferring heat away from sensitive components.
Electromagnetic Field Attenuation (Shielding): When used as a shield, the conductive copper foil reflects incident electromagnetic waves. The thin gauge allows the material to be conformable (bends around cables or enclosures), creating a continuous conductive barrier that absorbs and guides interference currents to ground.

A: Yes. We offer precision slitting services. The standard width range is 10mm to 2500mm. You can order custom widths with no tooling charge for bulk orders.
Q2: What is the difference between C11000 (ETP) and C10200 (OFC) for thin foil?
A: C11000 (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) offers excellent conductivity (101% IACS) and is cost-effective. C10200 (Oxygen-Free) has lower residual oxygen content, making it ideal for high-temperature hydrogen atmospheres (welding/brazing) and critical electronics where embrittlement is a concern.
Q3: Is a free sample available for the 0.01mm thick foil?
A: Yes, free samples are available. Please contact our sales team to arrange shipping. You only need to pay for the international courier cost if outside standard zones.
Q4: What is your MOQ for 0.03mm pure copper strip?
A: The standard MOQ is 500 kg per specification. However, for trial orders or standard stock sizes, we may be able to reduce the MOQ. Please inquire with your target quantity.
Q5: How do you pack the 0.1mm copper coil to prevent damage?
A: We use seaworthy packing with a wooden pallet and waterproof paper. The coils are wrapped with rust-proof VCI paper and plastic film, then secured on wooden spools or pallets to prevent denting or creasing during transit.
Q6: What is the lead time for non-standard sizes (e.g., 0.08mm x 45mm)?
A: If the size is not in stock, the typical production lead time is 10-15 days after deposit confirmation.
Q7: Can this foil be used for battery tab welding?
