1. What is this RO EDI ultrapure water system used for?
This RO EDI ultrapure water system is designed to produce high-purity water for laboratory, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industrial processes requiring low-conductivity water.
2. What is the difference between this system and a standard RO water purifier?
A standard RO system mainly removes dissolved salts, particles and impurities through reverse osmosis membranes.
This system can combine two-stage reverse osmosis and EDI polishing, allowing further reduction of dissolved ions and producing higher-purity water than conventional single-stage RO systems.
3. What water quality can the system produce?
According to the supplied specification, the outlet conductivity can reach ≤0.05 μS/cm under suitable operating conditions.
Actual water quality depends on the feed water, pretreatment configuration, RO membrane performance and EDI operating conditions.
4. What does EDI mean in a water treatment system?
EDI stands for Electrodeionization. It continuously removes ionized impurities from RO-treated water using ion-exchange media, membranes and an electric field.
