The jet suction dredger is a highly efficient underwater dredging equipment, which is widely used in river dredging, port
expansion, sea reclamation, sand mining and other projects. Its core principle is to use high-pressure water jets to impact
the riverbed to liquefy the silt, and then use the negative pressure suction of the sand pump to transport the mud to the
designated area. Compared with traditional mechanical dredgers, the jet suction dredger has the advantages of high
operating efficiency, strong adaptability and low maintenance cost.
Working principle
The core working process of the suction sand pumping ship includes:
High-pressure jet liquefaction: The high-pressure water pump generates pressurized water, which is sprayed by a water
gun to impact the sand, causing it to disintegrate and form mud
Vacuum suction: The sand pump forms negative pressure at the suction port, and the mud is sucked into the conveying
system through the sand suction pipe
Sediment transportation: The mud is transported to the designated area through the pipeline, such as the sand tank, the
shore or the filling area
Some models are also equipped with a self-unloading function, which can directly unload sand through the bottom hatch
of the ship
