The EEMUA 146 UNS 7060x Elbow is a common type of fitting that is used to change the direction of the flow in the system. These elbows are designed in short or long based on their radius of curvature. An EEMUA 146 Copper Nickel Long Radius Elbow has 1.5 times the radius of curvature than the outer diameter of the pipe. These elbows allow for a swift flow of media in different conditions. The EEMUA 146 Butt Weld End Caps are primarily used to close the ends of the hydraulic system to terminate the flow of fluids and gases. They also cut off contaminants from entering the grade. EEMUA 146 Stub End is a short piece of pipe having a flared end and can be used as an alternative to a standard flange.
WHAT IS CUPRO NICKEL FITTINGS?
The Tensile Strength of Cupro Nickel Fittings (rolled-H04 for flat products/ hard drawn-H80 for tubing) is 78000 psi (538 MPa). These Cuni Fittings has a Tensile Strength (annealed) of 52000 psi (359 MPa). Copper-Nickel Pipe Fittings are used in various application areas such as pipelines in shipbuilding, oil coolers, electrical resistors, steam turbine condensers, sprung contacts in relays, plug connectors and switches, auxiliary cooling systems and in a large number of cryogenic applications. The Chemical Composition of Copper Nickel Pipe Bend is Cu 71.25-76.5, Fe ≤ 0.20, Pb ≤0.050, Mn ≤ 1.0, Ni 23.5-26.5 and Zn ≤ 1.0. The Molecular Formula of Copper nickel is CuNi.
