1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate (Cupronickel Plate) is a copper‑based alloy plate containing nickel (typically 10% or 30%), with additions of iron and manganese. The most common grades are 90/10 CuNi (C70600) and 70/30 CuNi (C71500). It offers outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion, natural biofouling protection, good thermal conductivity, and high mechanical strength. Available in hot‑rolled (HR) and cold‑rolled (CR) forms, with various tempers (annealed, half‑hard, full‑hard) and surface finishes (2B, polished, brushed, mirror, chequered).
2. Product Applications
Marine & Offshore: Ship hulls, seawater piping, condensers, heat exchangers, desalination plants, offshore platforms, splash zone sheathing.
Power Generation: Steam turbine condensers, nuclear and fossil fuel plant cooling systems, oil coolers.
Chemical Industry: Pressure vessels, reactors, evaporators, corrosive fluid handling equipment.
Other: Architectural facades, hydraulic systems, firefighting systems.
