1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate is a solid solution strengthened alloy plate composed primarily of copper and nickel, with controlled additions of iron and manganese. These plates are specifically formulated for superior performance in marine, brackish, and industrial cooling water environments. The most common alloys are UNS C70600 (90% Cu / 10% Ni) and UNS C71500 (70% Cu / 30% Ni), with Chinese equivalents BFe10-1-1 and BFe30-1-1. The material is supplied in both hot rolled (HR) and cold rolled (CR) conditions, with thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 100 mm. Typical tempers include annealed (soft), quarter hard, half hard, and full hard. Surface treatments include as‑rolled, pickled, 2B bright cold rolled, polished, brushed, and chequered (diamond pattern). All plates conform to ASTM B171 / ASME SB171 or EN 1652 standards.
