1.Product Description
Copper-nickel pipe is a wrought non-ferrous tube produced from vacuum-melted, deoxidized alloy. The material is characterized by its single-phase solid solution structure, which provides a unique combination of mechanical strength and ductility. The pipe is manufactured by piercing and cold drawing (seamless type) or by continuous welding with post-weld heat treatment (welded type). Both types meet international pressure vessel codes. A distinctive feature of this pipe is its ability to withstand impingement attack from flowing seawater containing sand or other suspended solids.
2.Product Advantages
Superior resistance to hydrogen embrittlement – Can be used in wet H₂S environments up to 50 ppm without cracking.
Excellent low-temperature toughness – Impact strength remains high down to -250°C (no ductile-to-brittle transition).
Resistance to chlorine dioxide – Suitable for paper mill bleach plants (unlike stainless steel).
Non-sparking property – Safe for use in explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1 and 2).
Low maintenance requirement – Oxide layer eliminates need for internal coating or cathodic protection.

Liquefied gas transfer – LNG and LPG loading arms (cryogenic service down to -196°C after impact testing).
Firewater systems on FPSO vessels – Deck ring main and hydrant risers.
Heat recovery steam generators – Low-pressure evaporator tube bundles.
Marine condensers – Seawater side tubing in naval vessels (low magnetic signature).
Offshore wind farms – Internal cooling circuits for turbine converters.
Dockside potable water lines – NSF/ANSI 61 certified (for 90/10 alloy only).
