1. Product Description
Copper nickel elbows are pipe fittings manufactured from copper-nickel alloy, typical grades C70600 (90/10) and C71500 (70/30). The products are formed by cold pushing or hot pressing, followed by solution annealing to eliminate internal stress. These elbows offer excellent resistance to corrosion, erosion, and biofouling in seawater, fresh water, and various corrosive media, making them a common choice for shipbuilding, offshore engineering, and chemical piping systems.
2.Product Applications
Shipbuilding & repair: Seawater cooling, ballast, firefighting, and tank cleaning lines.
Offshore engineering: Seawater lift risers and water injection pipelines on platforms.
Desalination plants: High-velocity seawater transmission and brine discharge lines.
Power industry: Circulating cooling water systems in nuclear and thermal power plants.
Petrochemical: Pipelines for corrosive media containing hydrogen sulfide or chloride ions.
