1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate is a corrosion‑resistant copper‑nickel alloy plate containing nickel, iron, and manganese. The most widely used grades are CuNi90/10 (C70600) and CuNi70/30 (C71500). These plates are specifically designed for service in aggressive aqueous environments, especially seawater, brine, and brackish water. The alloy features a stable protective surface film that provides long‑term durability. Copper nickel plates are manufactured by hot rolling followed by cold rolling to achieve precise dimensional tolerances and uniform mechanical properties. They are supplied in annealed, quarter‑hard, half‑hard, and full‑hard tempers, with surface finishes including hot rolled (HR), cold rolled (CR), polished, and chequered patterns.
2. Product Applications
Shipbuilding & Marine: Seawater intake and discharge lines, hull valves, heat exchanger plates, condenser tube sheets, propellor shaft sleeves.
Offshore Oil & Gas: Splash zone sheathing on jacket legs, riser clamp plates, firewater pump housings.
Power Industry: Turbine condenser plates, low‑pressure heater shells, nuclear plant service water systems.
Desalination & Water Treatment: Evaporator plates, preheater shells, brine heater components.
Chemical & General Industry: Pressure vessels for diluted acids, brewery fermentation tanks, decorative architecture (cladding and roofing).
