Product Details
The aluminum-finned copper tube evaporator is a highly efficient heat exchange device widely used in air conditioning, refrigeration units, and industrial cooling systems. Its operation relies on the physical properties of the materials involved: copper tubes serve as the conduit for the circulating refrigerant (such as Freon), leveraging copper's excellent thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance; aluminum fins act as efficiency-enhancing components—since the heat transfer coefficient of air is relatively low, attaching lightweight, highly conductive aluminum fins to the outer surface of the copper tubes significantly increases the heat transfer area and effectively compensates for air-side thermal resistance. During operation, liquid refrigerant evaporates inside the tubes, absorbing heat, while air outside the tubes undergoes efficient heat exchange with the cold tubes via the fins, thereby achieving a cooling effect. Thanks to an optimal balance of lightweight design, low cost, and high heat transfer efficiency, this structure has become the most prevalent form of heat exchanger in both commercial and residential refrigeration equipment.
