Description

Copper alloy is an alloy composed of pure copper and added one or more other elements. Pure copper is purple-red, also known as red copper. Commonly used copper alloys are divided into three categories: brass, bronze, and cupronickel.
Zinc is easy to form a protective film on the surface at room temperature, so the biggest use of zinc is in the galvanizing industry.
Copper zinc plating can form alloys with many non-ferrous metals. Among them, alloys composed of zinc, aluminum and copper are widely used in die castings. A brass composed of zinc, copper, tin, and lead, used in machinery manufacturing. Zinc plates containing a small amount of lead, cadmium and other elements can be made into zinc-manganese dry battery negative electrodes, printed zinc plates, powder-corroded photographic plates and offset printing plates. Zinc can react with acids or strong bases to release hydrogen. Zinc fertilizer (zinc sulfate, zinc chloride) can promote plant cell respiration and carbohydrate metabolism.
