Product Overview The TaeguTec SCMT120408PC TT9080 is an original Korean positive square indexable turning insert under TaeguTec’s SCMT series, matched with versatile TT9080 PVD coating grade. It features PC medium-finish chipbreaker geometry, 7° positive back relief angle and 0.8mm nose radius, adopting single-sided 4 usable cutting edges. Equipped with TiAlN-TiN composite golden PVD coating, this insert balances low cutting resistance, anti-built-up edge and wear resistance, specialized for medium turning & finishing of carbon steel, alloy steel, austenitic stainless steel and low-hardness heat-resistant alloys. It fits standard SCLCR/SCLCN/SCMCN square tool holders for external turning, internal boring and facing operations on CNC lathes, widely used in auto parts, hydraulic fittings and general precision metal mass production.
