The TaeguTec WNMG080404-MT CT3000 / WNMG080408-MT CT3000 are original Korean negative rake 80° WN trigon indexable turning inserts from TaeguTec’s WNMG medium machining series, matched with premium CT3000 solid cermet substrate grade. Equipped with MT medium-cut chipbreaker geometry, they offer two common nose radius options: R0.4 and R0.8. The CT3000 cermet material features ultra-low friction coefficient, outstanding high-temperature wear resistance and anti-built-up edge performance, specially optimized for continuous medium turning and semi-finishing of carbon steel, alloy steel and austenitic stainless steel. With 6 usable cutting edges per single-sided insert, they fit standard MWLNR/MWLNL series WNMG08 tool holders for external OD turning, facing and light internal boring on CNC lathes, widely used for mass production of auto shafts, hydraulic fittings and general precision steel components.
