The APMT1604PDER-08 JC8050 is premium multilayer PVD coated carbide shoulder milling insert designed for right-angle face mill rough & semi-finish side milling on CNC machining centers. With special PDER forming geometry, dedicated 08 chipbreaker profile and JC8050 exclusive fine-grain carbide substrate, the insert balances superior wear resistance and edge toughness to deliver stable cutting performance during continuous and moderate interrupted milling of steel and stainless steel workpieces.

Optimized chip groove construction achieves regular chip curling and smooth chip evacuation, ensuring consistent machining precision and extended service life for batch mechanical component production with BAP series milling cutters.
