The 18CH Mux Demux is a cost-effective, flexible passive CWDM device based on TFF (Thin Film Filter) technology, suitable for short-distance transmission. This unit functions as either a multiplexer or de-multiplexer (mux/demux) and maximizes C-band capacity in accordance with ITU-T G.694.2 standards. When used with Gezhi Photonics CWDM optical transceivers and OADM components, it supports various architectures from simple point-to-point to amplified ring configurations.
Mux Demux units interconnect seamlessly with transponders, muxponders, and third-party WDM products to form cost-effective high-capacity CWDM tailored solutions.
By utilizing the 1530nm and 1550nm CWDM channels, multiple DWDM channels can be transmitted within a single CWDM channel, providing a cost-effective and easily expandable solution.
