Q1: What’s the difference between PM Filter WDM and ordinary WDM?
A: PM Filter WDM uses polarization-maintaining fiber, which can maintain linear polarization state of light, suitable for fiber laser, polarization-sensitive optical systems; ordinary WDM only uses single-mode fiber without polarization retention function.
Q2: Can you support high power above 10W?
A: Yes. We design heat sink packaging for high-power applications over 10W CW. Please inform us of working power when inquiry.
Q3: Do you offer customized wavelength models?
A: Yes. If our standard wavelength combinations cannot meet your demand, we can develop custom wavelength PM Filter WDM according to your requirements.
Q4: What’s the loss increase when adding fiber connectors?
A: Devices with connectors will add 0.3dB insertion loss, reduce return loss by 5dB and drop extinction ratio by 2dB compared to bare fiber versions.
