►Brief Description

The POWER-SONIC PS-1212 uses Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology. The fiberglass mat absorbs acid, greatly reducing the chance of battery sulfation. This battery also has a depth of discharge of over 80%, compared to only 50% for standard flooded batteries, making it very suitable for deep cycle battery applications. PS1212 batteries have low internal resistance and fast high current load capability, allowing for quick start-up and shut-down. This also means a low self-discharge rate under long term storage conditions. Therefore, POWER-SONIC PS-1212 batteries do not need to be charged as frequently. AGM batteries can be charged 5 times faster than flooded batteries, have a longer cycle life, and are more impact resistant. This AGM battery is lighter than flooded batteries as it requires less electrolyte, making it ideal for power sports applications. The reduced weight, reduced maintenance costs, and improved overall performance all add up to less weight.
