The nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries used in Nihon Kohden electrocardiographs are usually rechargeable dedicated battery packs, mainly used in portable or mobile electrocardiograph equipment (such as ECG monitors, Holter recorders, etc.). The Ni-MH battery used in electrocardiographs is a rechargeable battery with high energy density, no memory effect, and environmental protection. It is widely used in medical equipment.

Features:

1. Portability: NiMH batteries can provide stable power for portable or handheld electrocardiographs, suitable for outdoor, emergency or mobile medical scenarios.

2. Voltage matching: The nominal voltage of a single NiMH battery is 1.2V, and multiple batteries are usually connected in series (such as 6 batteries provide 7.2V) to meet the needs of the device.

3. Safety: Compared with NiCd batteries, NiMH batteries do not contain cadmium, are more environmentally friendly, and have a lower risk of leakage.

4. Large capacity: It can support the electrocardiograph to work continuously for several hours to dozens of hours (depending on the power consumption of the device).
