This FA industrial lens housing kit (Fixed Focal Industrial Lens Barrel Assembly) is a custom optical precision component primarily fabricated from 6061 aluminum alloy, with matching brass spacer shims. It employs a hybrid machining process: precision CNC turning as the primary process complemented by secondary CNC milling.
Since lens barrels are rotary parts, outer diameter, inner bore, fine optical threads, and positioning steps are completed in one clamping on CNC lathe to guarantee superior concentricity. Slotting, locating holes, and limit notches are finished by 3-axis CNC milling afterwards. The core challenge of optical lens barrel manufacturing is strict concentricity and fitting tolerance.
We machine high-precision fine optical threads with smooth rotation without jamming. Thread surfaces are burr-free and free of chipping. Brass spacers are separately turned to serve as lens interval gaskets. The surface finish is black hard anodizing, which creates a matte black surface to eliminate stray light reflection inside the lens, improving imaging performance. All finished parts are cleaned and wiped dust-free to meet clean assembly requirements for optical modules.
