Our telecentric lens barrel assembly, also known as machine vision telecentric lens housing kit, is a segmented optical structural set made of 6061 aluminum alloy. This 0.43X telecentric lens kit features a working distance of 150mm, compatible with 12MP industrial cameras, delivering large depth of field and low distortion for high-precision dimensional measurement. The full set consists of multiple segmented barrels, spacers, focusing rings and locking rings. The split design allows easy assembly of multi-group lens elements and smooth focal length adjustment. The inner wall is equipped with fine anti-reflection serrated threads, the signature feature of telecentric optics, which absorbs stray light and eliminates ghost images and haze caused by internal reflection.

We adopt CNC turning and turn-mill composite machining for production. Optical components demand far tighter tolerance than ordinary machined parts. Our manufacturing workflow starts from aluminum bar cutting, followed by rough turning of inner & outer circles, steps and threads. The turn-mill composite process fabricates side locating holes, set screw holes and anti-slip knurling on focusing rings. We perform precision turning for internal anti-reflection threads and lens positioning seats. Strict control on coaxiality and end face perpendicularity prevents imaging distortion caused by lens eccentricity. The machining challenges lie in the delicate internal anti-reflection threads. The cutting tool is prone to chipping, requiring low feed rates to maintain consistent thread depth without burrs. Matching threads between segmented barrels maintain precise clearance for smooth focusing without jamming. All parts go through deburring and ultrasonic cleaning. After matte black hard anodizing for anti-reflection, wear and corrosion resistance, we conduct laser marking of magnification and working distance parameters, followed by full dimensional inspection.
