Product Overview
The ABB TU810V1 is an 8-slot I/O electronic rack (base plate) specially designed for the S800 I/O system, supporting vertical installation. It can accommodate up to 8 S800 I/O modules (such as DI801, DO810, AI810, AO810, etc.) and provide power distribution and high-speed data communication channels through the built-in ModuleBus bus. The TU810V1 is mainly used to integrate multiple I/O modules into a compact unit and connect to the AC 800M controller or System 800xA system via the CI801 or CI854A communication interface module.

Renovation project: Replace the old PLC I/O and expand the control points by utilizing the existing AC 800M architecture
Installation and Usage instructions
Hardware installation
Fix the TU810V1 onto the DIN rail;
Install the CI801 (electrical) or CI854A (optical fiber) communication module in the leftmost slot.
Insert up to 8 S800 I/O modules (such as DI801, DO810, etc.) in sequence on the right side.
Connect the CI module to the AC 800M controller using the ModuleBus cable.
Software configuration
Create an I/O station in Control Builder M and select the TU810V1 base plate type;
The software automatically identifies the model of the inserted module and the number of channels.
Assign a label to each channel (such as "Pump_Start_FB");
Download the configuration to the controller, and the system will automatically activate the I/O station.
Debugging and verification
A constantly lit RUN light in the CI module indicates normal communication.
The status of the I/O module can be monitored in real time through software.
Supports online forced input/output for convenient loop testing
