The ABB DI801 is a classic 16-channel digital input module in the AC 800M distributed control system, specifically designed for the highly reliable acquisition of discrete signals such as switch status, alarm signals, and equipment operation/fault feedback in industrial environments. This module supports 24V DC active or passive (dry contact) input, and features channel-level photoelectric isolation, reverse polarity protection and intelligent diagnostic functions. It is suitable for various automation scenarios such as power, water treatment, mechanical manufacturing and material conveying.

Support channel-level open/short circuit detection (requires coordination with external pull-up/pull-down circuits)
Fault information is simultaneously reported through the LED on the front panel and the DCS alarm system
