Description
TeSys GV motor circuit breaker, 3 poles (3P), 4A/690V, for 3-phase motor applications 1.1-1.5kW@400V. It provides a thermal-magnetic protection with a thermal setting range 2.5-4A, magnetic tripping at 13xIn, high breaking capacity Icu 100kA@400V. Connection by screw clamp terminals. Start-stop control by push-button guaranteed for 100 000 cycles AC-3. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, ATEX), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).
Core Features
Schneider Electric GV2ME08 is A TeSys Deca series thermomagnetic motor protection circuit breaker. The frame current is 2.5-4 A, with a three-pole design and is universal within 690 V. It is equipped with a built-in bimetallic thermal trip and electromagnetic instantaneous trip unit, which takes into account overload long-delay and short-circuit instantaneous protection. At 400V, its breaking capacity can reach up to 100kA, completely cutting off fault currents. The red and green buttons on the front enable start, stop and reset. It supports padlock power-off maintenance and has a service life of 100,000 times under AC-3 working conditions. 45mm wide DIN rail installation, screw pressing, with auxiliary contacts, side-mounted handles and other accessories, can be combined with contactors to form reversible or star-delta circuits for motors, providing a compact, reliable and maintenance-free integrated solution for isolation, protection and manual control for motors under 1.5kW
Typical applications
GV2ME08 is commonly used for on-site start and stop of 1.5-2.2kW three-phase motors: it can be directly installed in the box beside the machine, with thermal magnetic protection of 2.5-4A. Pressing the green button will start the conveyor belt, small fan and water pump. Short-circuit breaking of 50 kA eliminates the need for additional fuses, making it compact and space-saving. It is a standard manual motor starter for factory line edges, packaging machines, and food mixers.
