The Schneider Electric GV2ME08 is a compact, reliable motor protection circuit breaker (MPCB) from the globally trusted TeSys GV2 series, engineered to provide integrated overload and short-circuit protection for small three-phase electric motors up to 3 kW (4 HP at 400 V). With an adjustable thermal trip setting of 5.0–6.3 A and a high short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 440 V AC, the GV2ME08 delivers robust performance in space-constrained applications such as packaging machines, HVAC units, conveyor systems, food processing equipment, and industrial automation panels.
As a 3-pole DIN-rail mountable device, the GV2ME08 combines isolation, overload protection, and short-circuit protection into a single, easy-to-install unit—eliminating the need for separate thermal relays and fuses. Its rotary operating handle provides clear visual indication of ON (green), OFF (white), and TRIPPED (red) status, enhancing safety during maintenance and troubleshooting. The unit also supports a wide range of TeSys GV2 accessories, including auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, and under-voltage releases, enabling seamless integration into control circuits.
