GV3ME63 is A Schneider TeSys GV3 series manual motor starting and protection circuit breaker with adjustable rated current ranging from 40 to 63 A. It integrates circuit breakers, thermal relays, and isolation devices. A single device can achieve five major functions: motor overload, short circuit, phase loss, isolation, and emergency shutdown By eliminating the traditional combination of thermal relay and fuse, the space inside the cabinet is saved by 40%. Built-in Class 10 bimetallic thermal compensation overload trip unit, no capacity reduction required at ambient temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +60 °C; The 10×Ie magnetic trip operates instantaneously, capable of withstanding a 10kA short-circuit impact, quickly cutting off the fault current and reducing the risk of contact welding. The front is equipped with a knob setting, a transparent scale window, a test trip button and a lead seal for the OFF position, facilitating on-site setting, inspection and energy locking.
Typical applications
It is used as the main protection in motor circuits below 45kW, for pumps, fans, compressors and conveyor belts. Directly connected to the PLC output, it replaces the traditional circuit breaker + thermal relay, saving 60% of the cabinet width. It can be interlocked with the GV3A01 handle to ensure the safety of maintenance. In machine tools, injection molding machines, HVAC systems and packaging equipment, it can withstand 100kA short-circuit breaking and provide triple protection of isolation, overload and phase loss. Supports top comb-bar GV3G*** rapid cabinet consolidation, achieving a 1-in-12-out busbar system, widely used in automotive welding workshops, cold chain logistics centers and air conditioning power distribution in shopping malls.
