1.Overview of the 034G0508 Danfoss ETS100

The Danfoss 034G0508 is a bidirectional, solenoid-sealed, 1-3/8" electronic expansion valve. It offers 600 kW of cooling capacity with one-touch precision adjustment, enabling "zero superheat, zero waste" operation in chillers, heat pumps, and data center cooling systems. This imported brass, welded-through electronic expansion valve, part of the Danfoss ETS series, is widely used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to precisely control the flow of refrigerant injected into the evaporator.

Precise flow control: The valve piston and linear positioning design provide superior control of refrigerant injection volume.

Bidirectional flow and shutoff: The pressure-balanced design enables bidirectional flow operation and provides the same tight shutoff characteristics as a solenoid valve in both flow directions.

Easy welding design: ETS 50 and ETS 100 The bimetallic welding interface (waterless welding) eliminates the need for wet cloth wrapping during welding, making it convenient and quick.

Low Power Consumption and Anti-Corrosion Design: The product features low energy consumption and internal and external corrosion protection.

Flexible Driver Compatibility: The ETS electronic expansion valve requires a controller that can be driven by either a 12V DC voltage (5.5W) or a 100mA RMS chopper current. In addition to the recommended Danfoss EKC 316A, EKC 312, and EKD 316 drivers, it is also compatible with electronic control solutions from Danfoss and other manufacturers.

Working Principle: The ETS valve is electronically driven by an AST stepper motor. This two-phase, bipolar stepper motor receives electrical pulses from the controller, driving the transmission mechanism, converting rotary motion into linear motion of the valve. This precisely controls the position of the piston and regulates the refrigerant flow.

Applications: This electronic expansion valve is commonly used in central air conditioning systems with Freon refrigeration systems. It is widely used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to precisely control the refrigerant flow injected into the evaporator.
