The IBS-PB CT 24 IO GT-T (Order No. 2742751) is an INTERBUS-PROFIBUS DP gateway (I/O coupling module) designed by Phoenix Contact Germany specifically for industrial fields. It seamlessly bridges the two most popular fieldbus systems, enabling bidirectional, real-time data exchange. This allows companies to upgrade systems or implement cross-brand interconnection without replacing existing PLCs or cables.
Core Functions
Gateway Function: Acts as both an INTERBUS remote bus device and a PROFIBUS DP slave, with a maximum data transmission of 10 words (160 bits) per cycle.
Transparent I/O: Output data on one side is automatically mapped to input data on the other side, requiring no additional programming.
Extensive Diagnostics: 16 status LEDs with a 7-segment display of the current data frame, supporting remote fault location.
Redundant Power Supply: Dual 24 V DC power supply terminals support uninterrupted switching.
Electrical Isolation: Three-way isolation (INTERBUS, PROFIBUS, power supply) ensures system safety.
