Kaydon not only supply Thin Section Bearings KA020ARO Bearing,but also produce contains seven series of open types and five series of sealed types, with bore diameter ranging from 1 inch to 40 inch and cross section ranging from 0.1875 × 0.1875 inch to 1.000 × 1.000 inch. Three kinds of Open Thin Section Bearings are available: Radial contact (C Type), Angular contact (A Type) and Four-point contact (X Type). Two kinds of Sealed Thin Section Bearings are available: Radial contact (C Type), and Four-point contact (X Type).
 

Angular Contact Bearing (Type A) The Type A bearing is also a conventional design. It features a circular pocket separator and a 30° contact angle along with approximately 67% of a full complement of balls. The chief benefit of the Type A bearing is that it provides greater thrust capacity than a Type C or Type X bearing. Because of its counterbored outer race, a Type A bearing has unidirectional thrust capacity. Thus, this bearing should be mounted opposed to another bearing to establish and maintain the contact angle, and to support reversing thrust loads.
