4. Installation & Maintenance Notes
- Used for overhauling leaking or worn telescopic boom cylinders on Boomer drill rigs.
- Replace all seals in the kit at the same time; do not mix old and new seals.
- Clean cylinder barrel, piston and gland thoroughly before installation to avoid scratching new seals.
- Lubricate seals with clean hydraulic oil during assembly; avoid sharp edges.
- After installation, test cylinder for leaks under low pressure first, then gradually increase to working pressure.
