Cable Management Unit
Racks and cabinets can accommodate more equipment than ever before, and the increased density of such equipment requires more stringent cable management inside and outside the rack. Poor management of the cable may not only lead to cable damage or increase the time to replace the cable, but also may prevent the main air flow from passing through or arriving, resulting in a drop in equipment performance or even downtime. These accessories provide suitable cable management solutions for a variety of needs, from simple cable management loops, vertical or horizontal finishing panels, to various solutions for trunking and cable ladders.
According to the function can be divided into the following categories.
(1) Cable ladder. It is usually used for overhead cable management between cabinets. Commonly used sizes are l5cm and 30cm wide. In practical applications, cable ladders are generally called pairs, one for data transmission and the other for power transmission, and the distance between them is not less than l5cm.
(2) Cable channel. The cable channel is used for cable management outside the cabinet and is usually installed on the top of the cabinet. Generally, at least two channels are installed to manage the data cables and power cables.
