The positive wire is usually red and the negative wire is usually black.A TT DC gearbox motor with a 1:48 gear ratio is used in the product, it comes with 2 x 200mm wires with 0.1” male connectors that fit into a breadboard. Perfect for plugging into a breadboard or terminal block.You can power these motors with 3 ~ 6VDC, but of course, they will go a little faster at higher voltages.

System Integration & Control:

1. Power Supply:
   TT gear motors operate within a voltage range of 3V to 6V DC, making them ideal for low-voltage DC systems used in most electric toys.

2. Driver Connection:
   The two wires from the TT motor are connected to the output terminals of the motor driver (e.g., M1/M2 on the DRV8833). The positive and negative wires correspond to the driver’s output terminals. The H-bridge design of the driver allows for forward and reverse motor control.

3. Direction & Speed Control:
   Motor direction is managed by the H-bridge driver, while speed can be adjusted precisely using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals. This is essential in toy applications, enabling smooth acceleration, deceleration, and multiple speed levels.

4. Mounting:
   TT motors come with a standard output shaft, which simplifies attachment of toy wheels, pulleys, and other mechanical components. Shaft couplers can be used to adapt to other shaft sizes. We also provide dedicated motor mounts for quick and reliable installation.

Important Considerations:

• Standard TT motors do not include built-in encoders, so they lack speed or position feedback. For applications requiring precision, external encoders or position sensors can be added.

• During prototyping or testing, a variable lab power supply is recommended to fine-tune motor performance and ensure consistency in final production.
