The Bently Nevada 3500/46M 176449-06 is a four-channel hydro monitor module for turbine protection. It processes signals from proximity, seismic, dynamic pressure, and air gap sensors.

  • 4 Channels: Monitors radial vibration, thrust, and air gap
  • Shear-Pin Detection: Combines shaft gap with NX amplitude to catch failures
  • Multimode Alarms: Stores 8 mode-specific alarm sets to prevent false trips

Technical Guidance: Program channels in pairs. Mask electromagnetic noise because the 0.104 Hz low-frequency response is highly sensitive.

Field Application: Used in pumped-storage plants for stator end winding (SEW) protection.
