A1: The 330195-02-12-05-00 is a Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8mm ETR (Extended Temperature Range) Reverse Mount Proximity Probe. It uses eddy current technology for non-contact measurement, mainly on rotating equipment such as steam turbines and centrifugal compressors. Typical measurements include shaft vibration, axial displacement, and Keyphasor reference signals.
A2: The 330195 series refers to the 3300 XL 8mm ETR reverse mount probe family. This configuration comes with a 3/8-24 UNF thread, 0.5 meter armored cable, and no approval option (-00). The probe design is used for installations where reverse mounting is required.
A3: The probe tip is rated for high temperature applications up to +218°C (+425°F). The cable and connector section have a different temperature rating, around -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +350°F). A Viton O-ring is used on the probe head for fluid sealing in industrial machinery applications.
A4: The probe works together with a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor and matching 3300 XL system cable. With the built-in 0.5 meter cable, a 4.5 meter extension cable can be used for a 5 meter system, or an 8.5 meter extension cable for a 9 meter system.
A5: The reverse mount structure allows the probe to be installed from the inside of the mounting arrangement and locked toward the shaft target. This type of setup is often found in API 670 machinery protection applications, especially where installation space is limited.
