3300 XL 8 mm standard-mount proximity probe with M10 × 1 thread, 110 mm case length, 5.0 m total length and miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with standard cable.
The 3300 XL 8 mm proximity system provides a voltage output proportional to the distance between the probe tip and a conductive target, allowing static position and dynamic vibration measurement. Bently Nevada specifies the system for vibration and position measurement on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor and speed measurement applications.
Used within a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer system for rotating-machinery vibration and position monitoring, including fluid-film bearing machines and Keyphasor-related measurement.
Typical replacement searches involve a failed or damaged probe, connector/cable issue, or loss or abnormality of the monitored vibration or position signal.
A failed probe channel can remove the associated measurement from the monitoring or protection system, so the operational consequence depends on the machine's configured protection logic.

The 3300 XL 8 mm system supports interchangeability of probes, extension cables and Proximitor sensors within the system.
