QSX15: Off-highway (Tier 2/3) fully electronically controlled heavy-duty engine, mainly used in construction machinery (such as rotary drilling rigs, 70-ton excavators, mining trucks, milling machines, bulldozers), marine auxiliary power, large generator sets, and special vehicles. Power range: 360–675 hp. Discontinued and replaced by the X15.
ISX15: On-highway (e.g., EPA 2010 / Euro VI) electronically controlled heavy-duty engine, designed specifically for compliant heavy trucks such as long-haul tractors, heavy-duty dump trucks, and concrete mixer trucks. Power range: 400–600 hp. A previous generation mainstay on-highway engine, gradually being replaced by the X15.
X15: The current mainline highway engine (replacing the ISX15), supporting a high-efficiency SCR + EGR + new combustion system. It is used in the latest heavy-duty trucks, special-purpose highway vehicles, and some compliant engineering equipment. Power output is 400–605 horsepower, meeting the latest emission standards (such as EPA 2017/2021). Some derivative models (such as the X15 Efficiency Series) are also used in off-highway special applications.
