Brass Flexible Spiral Mesh Architectural Metal Fabric For Exterior Wall Facades
BUILDING FACADES WITH ARCHITECTURAL METAL MESH FABRIC: On a facade of a building over glazing or windows, Tensile Architectural Metal Mesh Fabric Facade Screens provide a very attractive aesthetic while reflecting solar heat, reducing glare, maintaining day lighting and visual transparency. This is a very green way of saving money on energy costs as well as installation costs. There is a project in Shanghai where the owner has documented they have saved over $50,000 (USD) annually since 2004 in energy costs due to adding a Tensile Mesh Facade Screens over the exterior windows. That was $50,000 savings over 11-years which is a significant savings that paid for itself in just a few years. The Tensile Mesh Facade Screens also regulated the temperature inside of the building since the solar heat from the sun did not over heat one end of the building on while the other was too cold.
Introduction to Tensile Structures With Architectural Metal Fabric:
Tensile architectural metal fabric is the modern technique in which the architectural membranes bring curvature, translucency, to cover clear and very large spans in interior and exterior environments, Its lightweight and daylight is unmatched with any other building technique.
The membrane beautifully forms both the structure and the skin of the building envelope, and acts with maximum efficiency by achieving a three dimensional surface under constant tension.
Some Advantages of architectural metal mesh fabric:
| One fabric, two levels of solar protection: allows perfect control of lighting at the workstation. Architectural metal fabric screen Plus is a highly innovative product offering two separate levels of solar protection. This ensures maximum comfort for the user including benefits from increased light and transparency. Tests have shown that Screen Plus clearly improves visual comfort and working conditions. It provides between 50% and 100% more light than a traditional blind, while completely controlling reflection and glare on computer screens. | |
| Progressive solar control - Interior screen with progressive density designed for glass curtain walls - A screen for a progressive light control. | |
| The environmental friendly screen - PVC free and halogen free Screen fabric for internal roller blinds – very thin and lightweight basketweave pvc free screen available in 3% and 5% Openness Factor. |
